GeForce GTX 1650 Super:
Product Photography Study

Product Photography, Lighting Study & Visual Composition
Role: Photographer, Editor
Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Sony A7 III
Format: Digital Photography
Year: 2026

Overview:
This product photography study focuses on capturing clean, controlled visuals of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Super, inspired by the visual style commonly used in enterprise hardware and technology branding.

The goal of this project was to replicate a studio-like product photography environment using minimal, at-home resources. Through careful use of natural window lighting, diffusion, and reflective surfaces, I created a controlled lighting setup that emphasizes form, material, and detail while maintaining a clean and professional aesthetic.

The visual direction prioritizes clarity and precision, highlighting the structure, texture, and branding elements of the GPU. Compositionally, the images explore a balance between technical documentation and visual storytelling, using angle, spacing, and depth to present the product in a way that feels both informative and elevated.

Post-production played a key role in refining the final images. Subtle adjustments to exposure, contrast, and color temperature were applied to achieve neutral tones and consistent lighting across the series, while maintaining a natural and realistic representation of the product.

This project reflects my ability to approach product photography with both technical understanding and design sensitivity, translating physical objects into clear, visually compelling assets suitable for marketing and web use.

What I Did:

  • Lighting Setup:
Created a soft, controlled lighting environment using natural window light, diffusion materials, and reflective surfaces to simulate a studio setup

  • Product Styling:
Prepared and positioned the GPU to highlight key design features while ensuring a clean, dust-free presentation

  • Photography:
Captured multiple angles including hero shots, close-up details, and perspective views to showcase form and functionality

  • Post-Production:
Edited images in Adobe Photoshop to refine exposure, remove imperfections, and achieve consistent color and tone

  • Visual Composition:
Applied principles of balance, spacing, and hierarchy to create images that are both technically clear and visually engaging

This study was created to further develop my approach to product-focused photography within a technology context.
